ABSTRACT: Retailers often write policies for their suppliers that seem to be unrealistic and sometimes even impossible. Attend this seminar to understand how to tie it all together. We will be discussing the new associated FSMA rules, what retailers are actually asking for when they request HACCP plans and/or Food Safety Plans from growers and why they require 3rd party food safety audits, such as Global GAP or PrimusGFS. We will discuss how you can meet their requirements even when you do not have a kill step in your operation.
