Tari Gary works as the Food Safety Outreach Coordinator at the Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA). Tari graduated from Purdue with a bachelor’s in Food Science in 2016 and worked as a QA manager for Weston Foods before joining ISDA in July 2019. At ISDA, Tari leads outreach efforts and serves as a Produce Safety Alliance trainer for the Safe Produce Indiana program. Safe Produce Indiana aims to educate Indiana produce growers about the Food Safety Modernization Act Produce Safety Rule and food safety best practices to help them prepare for regulation.
